There are times when you need to store your important files and folders online, so you can access them from any Internet location, for example, from your home office. Sending files through email as attachments or uploading them to a FTP server is not the best idea in this case. A good idea in this case is to use the hubiC service, which allows you to store any file in a protected online space and it offers you 25 GB of storing space for free.
In order to synchronize your local files with a hubiC account, you will first need to download the special utility from the website. After installing the utility using its step by step wizard, the user will be asked to create an online account, in case he does not already have one. For this, he will need to enter his name, email address and country. After filling in all this data, the account will be created and the user will be given 25 GB of hosting space. This space can be increased by completing several offers on the program's website.
After the online account has been created, hubiC creates a folder in the My Documents folder, where you can store all the files which you would like to synchronize with the online account. As soon as you move or copy a file to that folder, it will be immediately synchronized. By accessing the Settings window of the program, the user is able to change the default folder for synchronizing files and also change the sub-folders that should be synced. Whenever new files and folders are being synchronized, you will be able to see real time information about this process by clicking on the program's icon, located in the system tray.
It offers you 25 GB of hosting space for free. Besides that, it allows you to change the folder where you can synchronize files and folders. Furthermore, it displays real time information about the synchronization process.
Using the program requires the creation of an online account and certain users might not be happy with this. hubiC allows you to store any file or folder in an online space, offering you 25 GB of storage space for free.
